Key Tasks:

  • Receive calls promptly and professionally, direct and relay telephonic messages 
  • Offer clients and visitors  beverages and inform the relevant department  staff member of their arrival
  • Provide general administration services to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Receive, organise and distribute mail
  • Open and date stamp memos, correspondence and documentation, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality at all times 
  • Maintain office supplies and place orders as necessary   
  • File all general correspondence    

The successful candidate will need to possess the following:

  • Matric 
  • Well spoken with strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Computer literate and Microsoft proficient (Excel and Word) 
  • Able to take own initiative and think proactively 
  • Can work independently without supervision 
  • Strong professionalism and interpersonal aplomb
  • Able to make diplomatic, customer-focused decisions
  • Multitasking capabilities
  • Organisational abilities
  • Good Time Management skills 
  • Willing to learn and take direction
