Job description

Sales agents management

    • Responsible for managing sales agents team and further developing the team through motivation and skills development

 

    • Setting targets for the Team Leaders and reaching targets and goals set for your area on an ongoing basis

 

    • Ensure agent base growth and performance to deliver against regional objectives and targets

 

    • Implement recruitment and corrective actions if required to manage the agent attrition

Process and procedure management

    • Test and monitor processes and systems, ensuring they adhered to and support best practice business objectives

 

    • Monitor, review and refine operational processes to improve the efficiency of the business and to achieve net sales value target on a monthly basis

Marketing materials management

    • Ensure that all sales agents activities; campaigns and events are planned and properly communicated

 

    • Develop and implement sales agents campaign strategy per area and continuously track, review and manage the quality of customer acquired

 

    • Develop, agree and implement communication and motivation plans for the sales in the region

 

    • Ensure that sales agents marketing materials are distributed equally to all agents to avoid favoritism

Operational management

    • Monitor sales agents performance daily and weekly and ensure necessary actions are taken to ensure that weekly targets are met

 

    • Coach, mentor and support top agents and team leaders in your region and ensure that they met their daily targets

 

    • Motivate to ensure new customers are continuously generated by the sales agents when campaigning

 

    • Communicate with Team Leaders about their weekly performances and meet with them on a weekly basis to discuss regional sales performance

Analysis and reporting

    • Compile, issue and present standard daily, weekly and monthly reports according to the business needs and requirements timeously

 

    • Analyse weekly sales performance and report back to the business with recommendations

 

    • Continuously analyse trends related to sales, quality, and risk management and make recommendations to management

Training and events planning

    • Provide high standards of ongoing training for the sales agents so that they possess sufficient product and sales knowledge to present on HomeChoice products in an accurate and balanced manner

 

    • Plan and implement recruitment drives and conduct business opportunity to attract prospect agents in order to grow agent base

 

    • Co-ordinate and communicate regional events and training sessions for your region

 

Requirements

Qualifications and accreditations

    • Grade 12 (Senior Certificate)

 

    • Qualification or experience in direct selling

 Experience and skills

    • Three to five years proven sales experience, preferably within a direct selling industry

 

    • Proven people management skills with effective experience in training, managing, mentoring and evaluating performance

 

    • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets

 

    • MS Office (Word, Powerpoint and Excel) at intermediate level

 

    • Previous experience in direct sales environment will be a great advantage
