Job description
Varsity College, an educational brand of The Independent Institute of Education (Pty) Ltd is a registered private higher education institution.
The Pretoria campus has a vacancy for a Student Advisor.
The duties of the student advisor include:
- Client relationship building to raise awareness of Varsity College with all stakeholders
- Arrange an deliver school presentations, career fairs and exhibitions
- Database management: collection of Grade 12 school database
- Conduct interviews with prospective students and their parents
- Drive the database, interview, application and registration process to meet new student targets
- Distribution of all marketing and promotional material on campus
- Co-ordinating marketing events
- Co-ordinate the on campus marketing function
Requirements
- Strong sales/ marketing profile
- Persuasive communication and dynamic public speaking skills
- An organised individual who is target driven and proactive
- Must have initiative and be able to formulate and implement plans
- Computer literate
Education:
- Minimum of a degree qualification
Work experience:
- Minimum of two years marketing or sales experience in an academic setting
