BABY GROUP:Mid Level Developer Opportunity

BabyGroup is looking for a highly proficient developer with a broad range of skills. You will be responsible for:

• Developing enhancements and applications using .Net, Microsoft SQL Server, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Performing maintenance of existing code on the BabyGroup website front end and back end
• Performing programming tasks with minimal supervision.
• Following agreed development processes.
• Keeping skills current and learning new technologies as required through self-learning.
• Being involved in ad hoc projects not limited to the BabyGroup website.

BabyGroup.co.za is South Africa’s largest specialist e-commerce store for moms. Launched in 2013, we offer the widest range of maternity and parenting products with free and fast delivery throughout South Africa. In addition we service eight international markets and are expecting to grow into more.

Requirements

• Three+ years experience with ASP.Net (C#), SQL Server, Webforms, JavaScript, CSS and HTML
• Experience of CMS development platforms, preferably Kentico.
• An awareness of e-commerce payment systems.
• Relevant developer certification.
• A good understanding of Internet and e-commerce technologies
• The ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• The ability to self start tasks and be managed at arms length.
• A personality that contributes positively to an office environment.
