HOME CHOICE:Business Analyst – E-Commerce Opportunity

• Complete a BRS or FRS

 

• Create functional specifications and system design specifications

 

• Analyze requirements, construct workflow charts and diagrams, study system capabilities and write specifications

 

• Create user requirement specifications for new features required

 

• Be involved in functional/technical design sessions with the development teams
  

Analysis

• Conduct business and systems analysis while problem solving and completing diagnostics

 

• Take responsibility during the development life cycle to resolve any business related issues

 

• Work within the proposal, design and delivery phase

 

• Define the requirements definition and provide input to project proposals

 

• Create and facilitate new features required and provide support to the system development lifecycle

 

• Systems and solution design

 

• Competitor analysis and benchmarking
  

 

• Where required – provide training, support and guidance on the systems

Reporting

• Provide progress reports as well as adhoc reports, as and when required

 

Requirements

Qualifications and accreditations

• A relevant three year Degree or Diploma

 

• Business Analysis Certification from an accredited institution

Experience and skills

• A minimum of three years’ business and systems analysis experience in an e-commerce environment

 

• Knowledge of internet/intranet applications in the retail industry

 

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment

 

• Proven track record of problem solving and diagnostic work

 

• Must have experience working within a technical team, interpreting business requirements into solution driven requirement with involvement in functional/technical design sessions with the development teams

 

• Programming experience would be advantageous
