BASE TWO:Creative Director OPPORTUNITY

A creative director(CD) oversees the creative team to help develop the agency’s creative product for clients. This team includes copywriters and designers with various complimentary skills. The CD also works with client service to make sure the client’s needs are being met and the overall creative goals are on track. CDs develop every aspect of an ad campaign based on the client’s marketing plan, conceptualise those ideas for clients, assign projects to teams and ensure the client’s deadlines are being met. A CD generally gets the glory when a campaign is a success and takes the blame when it’s a failure.

Requirements

Ability to lead a team of creatives

• Solid background in design and copy-writing

• Must be willing to work long hours

• Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite of products (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign), as well as Keynote (or PowerPoint) and other programs required for execution

• An in-depth understanding of traditional mediums is required (brochures, packaging, outdoor, direct and other associated marketing collateral, including radio and television, etc.)

• Must be able to manage the creative team from concept to completion of the projects with strong leadership

• Knowledge of each step of an ad campaign’s process to give creatives direction, to work on schedule and to meet the client’s advertising expectations

Experience
Bachelors Degree and at least five years advertising experience
