Job description

To handle all the validating, evaluating, making correct assessment decisions and calculating the correct payment for short term claims assessed.
Duties:-
- Handling all the validating, evaluating, making correct assessment decisions and calculating the correct payment for short term claims assessed.
- Handle all aspects of claims – Confirm that the claim intimation is correct and valid, check the status of the policy and receipt of premium (current and up to date), to facilitate claim processing, ensure all the required supporting documentation is obtained to comprehensively assess the claim, as well as evaluating and assessing the claim as per the policy wording/requirements documented in the policy wording. To finalling making the “correct” decision in respect of the claim.
- Administrative duties :- Support all involved stakeholders with regards to claim queries, ensure all interactions and developments are well documented on the inhouse system, generating payment requisitions to facilitate claim payments. Assume overall responsibility for the content of the decision notification sent out to all relevant parties and various other ad hoc duties
- Customer service:- Responsible for providing excellent service to policy holders and business partners in respect of claims, provide supportive input to customer experience with regards to customer complaints, liaise with policy holders regarding the status of their claim and keep them informed if necessary.
Requirements
- Matric + tertiary qual. in Finance
- Short term insurance background
- Numerical
- High service delivery ethics
- Professional and mature, in handling all tasks

Working hours:- Monday – Friday 8am – 4.30pm or 8.30am-5pm
