Key Performance Area
1) Management of vehicle movement turnaround time
- Sending instruction to salvage service provider to collect vehicle within 24 hours of being assessed and approved as a write-off
- Follow up to confirm that vehicle has successfully been delivered to salvage yard
2) Negotiate return rates on salvage stock
- Agree value of return on vehicle with salvage service provider
- Follow up and response to queries / offers received on vehicles
- Analysing deductions for missing/swapped parts for reasonability
3) Complete accountability of stock as salvage yard
- Daily Reconciliation of vehicle written off to vehicles delivered to salvage yard
- Weekly instruction to finance for all vehicles to be invoiced to salvage service provider
4) Oversee the accounts and manage receipt of payments
- Follow up with salvage service provider on payments outstanding
- Update claims system to account for all salvage receipts
- Resolve reconciling differences of amounts received per bank account vs. amounts recognised on claims system
5) Effective teamwork and self-management
- Consistently manage own priorities so as to achieve all deliverables
- Follow any lawful and reasonable instruction from your manager
- Act as part of the team and always assist other members of the team to achieve common goals
