Beauty Assistant Opportunity at Clicks Ravenswood

Clicks Group is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Beauty Assistant to join its Ravenswood store in Boksburg. This permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to work in the beauty and skincare sector while delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the growth of the store’s beauty department. The position reports directly to the Store Manager and is ideal for individuals with a strong interest in beauty products and retail.

Job Purpose

The Beauty Assistant will deliver service excellence by providing professional advice on beauty and skincare products, promoting merchandise, and maintaining high standards of store presentation. The role focuses on building customer loyalty, driving sales, and ensuring the beauty department operates efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with customers, answer product-related questions, and advise on suitable products and services
• Drive sales by promoting, cross-selling, and up-selling beauty products to meet monthly targets
• Monitor sales and evaluate product performance, suggesting improvements to increase sales
• Maintain updated knowledge on beauty products, trends, promotions, and events
• Execute operational activities, including stock management, minimizing shrinkage, and general housekeeping
• Ensure in-store visual merchandising, presentation, and promotional standards are consistently met
• Deliver superior customer service as a brand ambassador, being visible, friendly, and professional
• Promote the Clicks clubcard and enroll new members to achieve participation targets
• Increase profitability and brand loyalty through promotion of private label and exclusive products
• Support the store’s reputation as a preferred health and beauty retailer by living and promoting company values

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 certificate (essential)
• Relevant beauty or skincare qualification (desirable)
• Experience in beauty, skincare, retail, FMCG, sales, or marketing (desirable)

• Strong understanding of selling principles and retail operations
• Knowledge of merchandising, promotions, and stock management
