GRAPHIC MAIL:Global Financial Manager Opportunity
MTP, Inc. is seeking a global finance director who will be responsible for leading the global accounting and finance team. This position will report to the US-based chief financial officer while managing the overall direction of the accounting and finance organisation worldwide. This position will be based in our GraphicMail office located in Cape Town, South Africa.
The opportunity
Our global finance director will manage the international accounting and finance team. This position reports to our chief financial officer located at our SMTP, Inc. corporate headquarters in Nashua, NH.
The responsibilities
- Management and development of the accounting/finance team
- Oversee a timely and efficient monthly close process, while improving close speed and accuracy
- Improve management reporting
- Strengthen internal controls and documentation
- Management of internal and external (SEC) financial reporting
- Assist in the M&A process related to accounting diligence and integration
- Compilation of annual budgets and operating plans
- Determine accounting policy
- Manage audit relationship
Requirements
The person
- 12+ years of finance and accounting experience
- Accounting degree, CPA/Chartered accountant preferred
- SEC reporting experience including 10K and 10Q filings (non negotiable)
- Strong technical accounting and US GAAP knowledge (non negotiable)
- Expertise in computer programs such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
