iPROSPECT SOUTH AFRICA:PPC Account Manager Opportunity

To manage client(s) and their integrated PPC campaigns by providing the client with PPC proposals, strategies and media plan. As well as optimising the client(s) campaigns and reporting back with meaningful insights according to the client(s) business, marketing and media objectives.
As the PPC account manager you will be working on integrated campaigns with large media budgets for a wide range of leading local and international brands. Your responsibilities will include the below:
PPC account management
- Manage multiple clients at any given time
- Creation, development and management of effective PPC campaigns
- Manage multiple PPC channels at any given time
- Ensure client always has the competitive edge
- Work alongside other key departments such as D&I, earned team and client services
- Deliver client satisfaction through results driven campaigns according to expected KPI’s and objectives
- Provide strategic planning recommendations
- Manage and oversee all financial budgets ensuring campaigns are delivering on time and within budget
- Introducing and educating the client(s) about new PPC products and innovations
- Exceed clients expectations regarding performance
- Provide value enhancing solutions to clients
- Gather competitor insights
- Effectively manage client and client services expectations
- Campaign reporting, including analysis and recommendations
PPC campaign management
- Keyword research
- Paid search account set up and campaign build
- Bid management and strategy
- Reporting to client and highlighting opportunities for campaign optimisation as well as media efficiencies
- Budget management of paid search campaigns
- Setting up and tracking search campaigns using third party tools such as Marin, IgnitionOne, Dart, etc.
- Knowledge sharing of new learning in executing paid search

- Broad and unrivalled knowledge of paid search landscape (tools, methodologies, market dynamics)
- Product development and delivery – continue to develop industry leading methodologies supported by best of breed global tools
- Respect from team and clients
- Ability to meet and beat commercial targets
- Robust and insightful methodologies – simple to sell, simple to execute, high levels of client satisfaction, premium pricing
Desired experience
- Four+ years’ experience at respected agencies
- Must showcase examples of work completed as part of larger campaigns
- Case studies of how problems were solved and the role played
- Showcase direct client communication/management
- Experience in presenting to clients
- Worked with large budgets/client properties
- Experience in multi-channel work (Google platforms, Facebook and Twitter)
- Experience in delegation of work and management of outputs via other people
- Experience in the variety of tools required to do the job
- Good working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Good communication skills
- Client facing abilities
Advantageous
Technical qualifications
- Google Adwords Certification (Google Search and Display Advanced)
- Facebook Studio Certification
- Experience running Twitter PPC campaigns is beneficial
