Job description
Essential requirements:
Matric
Credit qualification ideally
Five+ years large value and volume corporate/commercial debtors experience
Previous staff supervisory experience ideally
Previous national commercial debtors book with large value and volume ideally
Must be a female for EE purposes
Must be resident in the Cape Peninsula
Must be a South African national
Must have a clean criminal and credit record
Must have a drivers licence and own reliable vehicle
Attention to detail and outcome driven
Tenacious personality
Deadline driven
Excellent customer communication skills – verbal and written
High degree of self-motivation and ambition
Time management and prioritisation skills (planning, follow-up and follow through)
Highly skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
Job description:
Will be responsible for the debtor’s book nationally. The job requires constant communication with the branches located in Johannesburg, Durban and Port Elizabeth. Although there are debtors personnel located in each of the region’s the accountability for the overall well being of the debtors book lies with the credit controller
Duties:
Debtors management within agreed performance targets
Customer communication and account query management
Relationship building with customer account personnel
Account reconciliation statement management
Remote overseeing of debtors staff
Debtor’s procedural development and implementation
Petty cash – receipts, payments and general cash management
