Unitrans General Worker Team Leader Opportunity
A position for a General Worker Team Leader has become available at the Unitrans Supply Chain depot in Worcester and must be filled as soon as possible by an applicant that will be appointed successfully based on the requirements. The main purpose of this position to a successfully selected candidate is to assist in loading, off loading raw material and also to be willing to work 12 hours shifts, nightshifts, weekends and public holidays.
Requirements and Duties:
Requirements:
>>Matric (Grade 12)
>>Computer Literate (MS Office)
>>Exposure to Rail Siding an advantage
>>1 – 2 years in a supervisory or junior management position
>>Valid forklift license an advantage
Able to read, write and communicate in English
Duties:
>>Supervise whilst performing same tasks as general workers
>>Adhere to Operational procedures
>>Administration
>>Housekeeping & Cleaning
>>Supervise adherence to OHS
>>Rail Shunting
>>Stock Take
>>Ancillary duties
>>Must be able to work individually and in a team
>>Assist in loading/off loading raw material
>>Receiving of inbound products
>>Willing to work 12 hr shifts, nightshifts, weekends and public holidays
>>Preferably own transport (shift work)
