Business Development Office Opportunity

Phakamani Impact Capital with its Head Office in Hyde Park requires a Business Development Officer in the Kimberley/Koffiefontein area. The candidate will be based in Kimberley and will operate in the mining communities of Petra Diamonds.

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Management or solid understanding and experience of Enterprise Development. Sound financial and administrative acumen in the small business environment. Good grasp of financial theory and concepts such as cash flow, present value, cost of capital, cost of sales and enterprise valuation.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

? Solid understanding of enterprise development
? Entrepreneurial and/or commercial back-
ground
? Proven track record of academic and career success
? Numbers orientated
? Understanding and working knowledge of financial models.
? Valid Driver’s License with own car
? Computer literate
? Solid knowledge of Excel, Word and Powerpoint
? Participating in company valuations and structuring transactions
? Ability to understand, analyse and interpret financial statements
? Excellent oral and written communication skills i.e. well spoken, with the ability to liaise with an internal and external client base

– Applicant should be fluent in Afrikaans and English. Knowledge of a third language would be an advantage.
