Construction Director – Concentrated Solar Power Opportunity

Spinwell Global is working with a multinational energy company and has been requested to recruit a Construction Director for a 100MW Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) based in South Africa.

The Construction Director is responsible on behalf of the Project Company for ensuring the EPC Contractor executes the EPC Contract construction program on time, within the budget, in a safe and high quality manner commensurate with the requirements of the EPC Contract, Power Purchase Agreement and good industry practice.  The Construction Director is responsible for facilitating the timely and accurate interfaces to the EPC Contract scope

As Construction Director you will be a degree holder in either in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or university degree with strong background in the energy sector. A course in HSE Management (IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent) is an advantage.  A minimum of 10 years of experience in the power generation sector is required.  Previous project experience on a Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) is highly desirable.
