BEAUTY BULLETIN:Graphic Designer Opportunity
We are looking for a dynamic, talented designer with a passion for digital and beauty. Combine your great design (and technical) skills and a minimum of one year design experience and you could be joining our team!
Our company is Beauty Bulletin. We are South Africa’s largest product review club and community dedicated to women and beauty. We are still a small team and therefor need an all-rounder graphic designer with a can-do attitude that can work on all design elements including:
– advertising banners for clients and our company
– landing pages
– mock ups for sales proposals
– Video editing
– article layouts
– Newsletters
– Social media images/banners
– Editorial images
– Designing websites
Key performances:
– Ability to take a project from a brief to completion
– adapting traditional design to digital creating engagement
– Organised and methodical work approach
Requirements
Matric
Competence in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Acrobat and InDesign)
Competence in MS Office
A strong digital/web design portfolio
One to two years’ experience relevant industry experience.
Computer literate in the following technologies: CS6 Adobe Suit; Fireworks; Dreamweaver; Flash; HTML 5; CSS 3 and MS Office suite
Specific design experience in mobile, social media, video and A/B testing would be advantageous
Advantageous
One to two years relevant industry experience
Relevant Graphic Design diploma or tertiary qualification
Ability to develop in HTML, CSS
Animation, Illustration
Video creation and basic editing
Strong understanding of user experience
Maintain brand identity across all projects
