Job description

Requirements:

• Relevant chef qualification is required
• Minimum three years chef experience
• Must be experienced in menu presentation
• Must be computer literate
• Valid code 8 driver’s license and own transport

Benefits:

• Salary R8,000 – R12,000 Depending on experience
• Work 36 days on, 12 days off
• 16 Floating days for full years’ service
• Medical contribution after six months
• Uniform included
• Free accommodation (single room with en-suite bathroom and single bed. Own linen, toiletries etc. must be supplied)
• Three meals per day

Duties (including but not limited to):

• Handle the day to day running of the kitchen, with hands on cooking and training of existing team of chefs.
• Menu planning, stock takes, health and safety and hygiene protocols
• Communicate with guests to ensure customer satisfaction and guest retention
