Key Responsibilities

• Participate in rotational, on-the-ground training across key operational areas
• Lead and develop store teams to deliver superior customer service
• Ensure effective stock management, merchandising, and promotional execution
• Maintain service standards, hygiene, and safety compliance
• Manage Profit & Loss statements, budget expenses, and store reporting
• Implement food safety practices and loss prevention strategies

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Matric/Grade 12 qualification is required
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a retail setting, preferably in supermarket operations
• Proficiency in MS Office and supermarket systems is advantageous

Skills and Knowledge

• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building capabilities
• Excellent understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and pricing strategy
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)
• Ability to manage administrative tasks, budgets, and inventory effectively
• Strong communication and customer engagement skills
