Social Media Manager Opportunity

Job description

We are looking for a self-motivated, forward-thinking and passionate candidate to bring a fresh approach to social media at our client’s CPT office. You will work alongside a strong creative team made up of designers and copywriters, PR and strategy but ultimately take ownership and lead the social media offering. You will need experience in writing and implementing social media strategies and content, with a thorough understanding of online paid media, management and interpretation of data and implementing TTL work for brands in an agency environment. As a leader you will be responsible for reviewing the outputs of junior community managers and creative while constantly growing and developing the social media service.

Requirements

• Demonstrate thorough understanding of social networks
• At least three to four year’s agency experience
• Strong copywriting skills
• Great conceptual thinker
• Knowledge and experience of social media tools (publishing/monitoring/reporting)
• Analytical and reporting proficiency
• Experience managing medium/large sized local/global brands on digital platforms
• Understanding of web/mobile landscape
• Leadership capacity

Advantageous

• Experience on integrated digital campaigns for brands
• Ability to present to clients
• Proficiency in African languages (isiXhosa beneficial)
