Advertising Sales Executive Opportunity

Job description

The Advertising Sales Executive will be responsible for the procurement of Johannesburg based accounts, both agency and direct. With a key focus on bringing in new business, the role requires a skilled digital media sales professional with extensive agency account management experience and propensity toward service centric, consultative solutions based sales and account management.

A successful candidate will be one that is proactive, understands the benefit of taking strategic opportunities to market (rather than waiting for business to come in) and is proficient at new business development

  • Extensive online media sales and account management experience.
  • Strong relationships with large Johannesburg based agencies.
  • Strong understanding of industry trends, technologies and online advertising particularly within the display media space.
  • Exceptional initiative and pro activity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking in terms of marketing, advertising and campaign creation.
  • Understands sales from a “creative” perspective.

 

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree
  • Two years or more digital media experience in a similar role.
  • Existing agency and client direct relationships mandatory.
  • Agency account management.
  • New business acquisition.
  • Client relationship building.
  • Strengthening, management.
  • Achieving personal and team targets.
  • Maximizing agency revenue extraction.
  • Client and sales administration.
  • High degree of service quality to agency clients.
