Insights Manager Opportunity

A strategic agency within a TTL blue-chip ad agency is looking for an AA/EE m/w insights manager.

Primary responsibilities of this role:

• Writing proposals and costing projects independently with some input from insights director where required
• Designing questionnaires, samples and study structures independently with some guidance from the insights director where required
• Responsibility and accountability for the smooth running of insights projects and liaising with key suppliers, including ensuring that the projects deliver on time and within the designated budget
• Maintaining strong relationships with field and research suppliers, evaluating supplier proposals and performance (accuracy, quality and timeliness of delivery), as well as evaluation and selection of new research partners

Required skills, education and competencies for the role:

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree which includes the following:
o   Numeracy elements – preferably a strong element of statistics
o   A degree focusing on marketing, consumer behaviour or market research would be a distinct advantage
Experience
o   A minimum of five years of experience working in a research agency and, if currently a senior research executive, a minimum of two years in this role
o   Demonstrated ability to be promoted within one organisation rather than simply moving organisations for promotion
o   Demonstrated success in client development will be an advantage
o   Additional experience as a client side researcher will be a distinct advantage
Core skills needed are:
o   High level of numeracy – experience in data tabulation programmes or SPSS will be an advantage
o   High level of literacy in English, both spoken and written
o   Strong analytical skills
o   Strong organisational skills
o   Good attention to detail
