Regional Finance Controller Opportunity

Job description

Our client is seeking a Regional Finance Controller to be responsible for the maintenance of an accurate, complete and valid accounts receivable ageing report and to provide financial and administrative assistance to the Port Elizabeth office.

*Please note that this will only be a five month contract.

Requirements

Credit Control Certificate/Diploma

Six years’ experience in a financial environment

Immediately available candidates only.

Duties

Assist PL’s and finance department with collection of regional outstanding debt

Report >60 days outstanding/received payments to Senior Accountant daily

Follow up on unallocated payments, ensuring they are allocated within 48 hours

Identify potential regional bad debts and take the required legal action in conjunction with the technical executives and/or project leaders to recover the balances

Manage petty cash and report to finance

Submit branch funding requests to Finance for top up

Control branch cheque book for local payments

Salary

 

R15,000 per month
