A specialist in end-to-end IT management and consultative IT Services seeks a highly meticulous and solutions-driven HR Administrator whose core role will be to handle daily administrative and HR duties. You will assist the HR Managers with recruitment, exits, reporting, record maintenance and Payroll processing, and provide clerical support to all employees. The successful incumbent requires Grade 12/Matric, Degree/Diploma in Human Resources or any other suitable tertiary qualification, 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role with effective HR administration and People Management and a solid understanding of Disciplinary / Grievance Processes, SETA, ATR/WSP and EE.

Duties:

  • Form and maintain employee records.
  • Prepare and amend where necessary HR documents, i.e., employment contracts and recruitment guides.
  • Be part of the onboarding of new employees (Internal communication, new joiner packs, showing new employees
  • the facilities, registering employees on all internal boards, etc.).
  • Be the first point of contact for employees on any HR related queries.
  • Assist with Payroll by providing the Finance Department with relevant employee information –
    • Resignations
    • Changes in departments
    • Terminations
    • Promotions
  • Assist with various arrangements internally, such as generating order numbers.
  • Administer external training.
  • Assist HR Manager and Management with outputs such as –
    • Recruitment, (Internal and external)
    • Exit process
    • Performance Management
    • Administrate and maintain HR policies
  • Assist Management with any ad hoc duties.

Requirements:

Qualifications –

  • Grade 12 / Matric.
  • Degree/Diploma in Human Resources or any relevant qualification.

Experience/Skills –

  • 2-3 years’ experience in HR Administration.
  • Effective HR administration and People Management skills.
  • Understanding of HR functions and practices –
    • Disciplinary / Grievance Processes
    • SETA
    • ATR/WSP
    • EE
