Liquidity is one of the longest-running independent liquor distributors in South Africa. With a curated portfolio of ultra-premium wines and spirits, we specialise in bringing some of the best craft brands around the world to South Africa.

We’re ready to take the business to the next level and are looking for the perfect person to help us shift gears.

The Marketing Operations Specialist is a go-getter who finds satisfaction in forging new relationships and collaborative partnerships. They are creative, motivated and innovative, not afraid to get their hands dirty and isn’t someone who easily takes no for an answer. This role is best suited for someone used to a high-pressure agency or project management environment.

Your day-to-day will be spent mostly out of the office looking for that next opportunity to on-board partners, seek out mutually beneficial opportunities with like-minded brands in other sectors, managing client relationships, helping our customers grow their business and dreaming up creative ways to build awareness around our portfolio of brands (think cool packaging ideas, posters, displays, and collaboration ideas). Your time in the office will be limited to weekly check-ins to update management on the amazing things you’re getting up to and monthly reporting on how you’re tracking with the business strategies. You will also be responsible for setting up and managing the overall marketing strategy and budget and oversee and report on the deliverables of the marketing coordinator. Some domestic travel will be required from time to time to build relationships across the country.

Experience in the liquor industry is preferred, but not a deal-breaker. You will receive comprehensive training on all the brands in our portfolio.

Requirements

• 3-5 years experience in a dynamic, creative environment
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• A relevant marketing (or related) qualification
