Bring your passion for exceptional user experience and proven track record of coaching testing principles, as the next QA Test Lead sought by a dynamic Finance Administration Firm to join its team. Your role will entail developing and documenting test plans, test cases, SQL scripts and automation scripts based on user requirements, condition data as required. The ideal candidate must have at least 5+ years’ experience as a QA Engineer, be proficient in Flexcube, HTML, CSS, SQL and knowledgeable around Retail Investment domain, Transfer Agency, Web Applications, have experience testing financial products and websites and a proven track record of understanding and identifying risks in functional changes and successfully directing testing efforts appropriately.
Duties:

• Be responsible for the development of best practice test strategies for the business.
• Responsible for the management, leadership, development, support and output of the QA test team.
• Develop and document test plans, test cases, SQL scripts and automation scripts based on user requirements, condition data as required.
• Document and execute Regression, Functional, and Integration tests.
• Document and track software failures using JIRA and/or similar tools.
• Work with Developers and QA team members to resolve outstanding bugs.
• Support ongoing work to automate and document QA Regression Testing.

Requirements:

• Five+ years’ experience as a QA Engineer and experience leading a team.
• Knowledge of –
• Flexcube
• Retail Investment domain
• Transfer Agency
• Front-end Development technologies and tools e.g., HTML, CSS etc.
• Database query languages e.g., SQL
• Web Applications
  
  • Understanding of financial markets and financial systems.
  • Experience with testing financial products and websites.
  • Knowledgeable about testing methodologies.
  • Able to develop test plans and test cases in an Agile development environment.
  • Proven leadership and coaching skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of coaching testing principles and thinking approach to build a team of self-sufficient testers producing quality outputs.
  • Full of ideas about how to make your life easier through effective automation of Quality Assurance testing.
  • Proven track record of understanding and identifying risks in functional changes and successfully directing testing efforts appropriately.
