Ramsay Media (Pty) Ltd is SA’s largest independent magazine and digital publishing company responsible for some of the country’s best-performing titles. We are currently looking for an editorial intern for our Getaway Magazine.
The successful candidate will be exposed to:
- Generating story ideas daily
- Assist with fact-checking of stories
- Assist with editorial tasks
- Keeping abreast of current affairs
- Manage social media channels when necessary
- Attends events when required
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in English and/or journalism
- Proficiency in Photoshop, WordPress CMS and a Mac operating system
- Excellent writing, copy-editing and organisational skills
- Able to work accurately under deadline pressure and willing to work overtime when necessary
- Work experience in the media industry is an advantage
