RTB@Neo is the programmatic buying arm of Neo@Ogilvy SA, focused on delivering technology-based media-buying solutions to the agency’s client roster. The team partners closely with industry leaders, in particular Google, to deliver the most advanced buying and insights platform in the industry.
Role Summary
The available role is within the Real Time Bidding (RTB) specialist team. RTB buying has revolutionised the way online media is bought and analysed, and Neo is one of the only agencies in the SA to have that capability in house. The RTB Specialist team exists as a hub within the broader team, with specialists integrated in to each client team.
The RTB AM will have a focus on all accounts. Key Elements:
- Management of multiple RTB/programmatic digital media accounts (online, search, mobile, social).
- All facets of service and delivery of agency services in an efficient, effective and timely manner.
- Working with the planning and client service teams to develop and implement RTB media strategies.
- Build and traffic campaigns in DSP platforms including desktop, FBX. video, search andmobile
- Analyse campaign n performance and make recommendations for optimisation
- Own campaign performance and pacing while recommending opportunities for optimisation
- Regular review of performance of campaigns across revenue, performance and pacing
- Design and implement tests to evaluate DSP platforms and feature performance
- Work with internal teams to create real-time optimization strategies that align with campaign goals, delivery and performance
- Maintain DSP partner/technology relationships providing cases to upgrade or downgrade as needed from time to time
- To ensure best practice RTB techniques are employed at all times across the client base by providing
strategic mediaconsultancy
- Proactively seek new opportunities within programmatic space to develop campaigns and organically grow account budgets
- Actively liaising with the ad operations team to source new tracking/measurement opportunities
- Monitoring of oil campaign programmatic budgets and costs
- Pioneer programmatic buying, to internal client service teams and outside businesses
Functional Requirements:
- Ability to write comprehensive and insightful briefs for programmatic campaigns
- One-two year trafficking/trading experience in digital advertising
- One-two years of digital media analytics experience landscape, RTB/Programmatic buying experience
- Quick learner who loves to pick up new tools/software for reporting and analysis
- Organised, detail oriented and highly focused
- Familiarity with ad servers, rich media vendors, web debugging tools (HTML/JavaScript, Firebug, elc.)
- Excellent Excel/PowerPoint skills – Attention to detail
- Confident presentation and communication skills
