Spatial planning and environment – Urban regeneration programme south
Senior professional officer: Integrated facilities and precinct management
TCOE salary commencing from R870 029 to R1 314 364 per annum – ref no: SPE 33/22
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree or B.Tech degree in the Built Environment, Development Planning, or a related field
- A minimum of five years’ relevant experience involving the planning and implementation of infrastructural and socio-economic projects that cut across a range of disciplines
- A minimum of three years’ experience at a supervisory level within the project management environment
- Willing to travel to meetings, workshops and briefing sessions across the City using own transport
- Willing to attend after hours meetings
- Computer literacy Advanced Excel and other MSOffice application packages
- Code EB driver’s licence.
Key performance areas:
- Identify the preconditions for sustainable precinct management
- Establish and lead workstreams that require interaction with a range of line departments and stakeholders
- Coordinate the facilitation of participatory planning in relation to precinct management and project implementation
- Prepare and implement precinct level management models within the defined areas of the MURP programme
- Implement, monitor and evaluate the implementation of projects and the performance of precincts
- Provide inputs on public facilities operations, maintenance and management.
