The Mamusa Local Municipality is inviting applicants who will meet the requirements of being this Municipality’s Cashiers to apply as it have two available positions. The main purpose of this positions to applicants that will successfully be selected based on the requirements, is to to provide effective and efficient service to the public with regards to motor vehicle registration and licences and to perform administrative duties, such as telephone enquiries and complaints.
Requirements and Duties:
Requirements:
>>Grade 12 or Matric Certificate
>>1-2 years experience in Municipality Environment
>>Computer Literacy
Duties:
>>To prove effective and efficient service to the public with regards to motor vehicle registration and licences.
>>To issue roadworthy certificates after vehicle has been declared roadworthy.
>>Deal with the public over counter.
>>Process licences on Natis System.
>>Receive applicable fees and return licence as proof of registration.
>>Perform administrative duties, such as telephone enquiries and complaints.
>>Take fingerprints of applicants and do eye testing.
>>Send out notices for collection of licences.
