Job Responsibilities
The Pharmacist will oversee dispensary operations and ensure professional pharmaceutical services. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing accurate and safe dispensing, including generic substitution, and offering professional advice according to SAPC standards
- Managing dispensary operations, including stock management, shrinkage control, housekeeping, and administrative tasks
- Monitoring dispensary and clinic performance to achieve operational targets
- Training and developing Pharmacist Assistants and Interns to maintain a competent team
- Delivering excellent customer service to drive loyalty and club card participation
- Building relationships with centre managers, suppliers, and distribution centres to maximise business opportunities
- Integrating services with the clinic and healthcare aisle for a full customer healthcare offering
- Supporting the Group’s vision to be the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer
Minimum Requirements
To qualify, candidates must have:
- Registration as a Pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)
- Retail pharmacy experience is desirable
- Experience with Unisolve is advantageous
