Dis-Chem Pharmacies Limited is looking for an experienced Cleaner for their Valley Hyper store in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. This is a fixed-term contract position. The closing date for applications is 14 August 2025.

About the Role
The Cleaner will maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the store. This includes the shop floor, stockroom, dispensary, admin office, and canteen. You will ensure all areas meet Dis-Chem’s strict hygiene standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 or Matric
• At least 6 months cleaning experience
• Good command of English
• Basic customer service skills
• Additional local language is a plus
• Willingness to work retail hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual abilities
• Previous retail store cleaning experience

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness before store opening and throughout operating hours
• Clean shop floor, communal areas, canteen, restrooms, and admin spaces
• Use correct cleaning products and equipment for tasks
• Display wet floor signs when cleaning floors
• Provide friendly, professional customer assistance when needed
• Follow health and safety regulations strictly
