• Checkout Assistant
• Shelfpacker (Wine, Groceries, General Merchandise, Perishables, Clothing)
• Warehouse/Stockroom Assistant
• Service Area Assistant (Bakery, Butchery, Deli, Fruit & Veg, Cheese)
• Production Assistant
• Blockman

Core Responsibilities

Candidates selected for these roles will be expected to:

• Greet customers according to a standard greeting protocol
• Assist customers with product locations, features, and benefits
• Address and escalate customer complaints through a clear process
• Follow standard stocking procedures ensuring proper display and rotation of products
• Maintain a clean, organized store and ensure merchandise displays are attractive
• Communicate clearly with customers, colleagues, and management
• Promote products and respond to customer queries in a courteous manner
• Ensure outstanding store condition and adhere to visual merchandising standards
• Merchandise products according to company standards
• Check product quality, rotate stock, and remove expired items
• Prevent wastage, shrinkage, and damages
• Check temperatures and maintain the cold chain (if applicable)
• Follow all hygiene, housekeeping, and safety standards
• Ensure accurate pricing and labeling
• Operate and clean store equipment as per procedures
• Maintain and follow all required security procedures
