Applications Open for Transnet NPA Graduate Internship Programme in Saldanha

Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA) is inviting applications for its Graduate Internship Programme, offering an exciting 24-month structured training opportunity at their Saldanha location in the Western Cape. This internship falls under the Trainee employee group and reports directly to the Manager – Human Resources.

About the Internship Programme:
The main purpose of the internship is to equip graduates with hands-on experience in their chosen field through on-the-job training, performance assessments, and exposure to key operational areas within Transnet NPA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow a structured 24-month training programme
- Participate in performance reviews and assessments
- Perform all duties outlined in the development programme, as well as any other reasonable tasks assigned by Transnet National Ports Authority
Qualification Requirements:
The internship targets graduates from specific academic disciplines, including:
- Supply Chain Management Department:
Degree or National Diploma in Supply Chain Management - Port Management Department:
National Diploma or Degree in Corporate Communication, Public Relations, or Journalism
Applicant Criteria:
To qualify for this internship, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Be South African citizens aged between 18 and 35 years old
- Have no previous work experience in their field of study
- Candidates with disabilities are encouraged to apply
- Preference will be given to applicants residing in the Saldanha Bay Municipality and surrounding areas
