Who Should Apply?

This opportunity is part of the Youth Employment Service (YES) Programme, which is designed to help unemployed youth gain critical work experience. To qualify, you must meet the following criteria:

• Be aged between 18 and 28 years old.
• Have a minimum educational qualification of Grade 10, though Matric is preferred.
• Be available to work a 12-month fixed-term contract.
• Not have been employed permanently with a single employer for more than one year.
• Not be studying full-time between April 2025 and March 2026.
• Not have participated in the YES programme before.
• Be responsible for your own accommodation and transport (if applicable).

Preference will be given to candidates from designated groups as per the Employment Equity Act.

About the Role

This full-time role at @Home Stellenbosch Square will give you hands-on experience in customer service, sales, and store operations within a vibrant and fast-paced retail environment.

You’ll learn how to:

• Provide excellent service to customers.
• Assist with merchandising and stock control.
• Work as part of a retail sales team.
