Eskom, South Africa’s leading electricity utility, is inviting applications for two Engineer in Training (EIT) positions within the Generation Business Enablement & Strategy Department based at Megawatt Park in Gauteng. This opportunity is open to both internal and external candidates looking to build a career in the energy sector.

A Launchpad for Industrial Engineering Graduates

The EIT programme is tailored for individuals who have successfully completed a BEng or BSc in Industrial Engineering. This structured initiative combines institutional learning with on-the-job training to prepare candidates for future leadership roles within Eskom’s diverse operations.

To qualify, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Fully completed BEng or BSc degree in Industrial Engineering.
  • Must be a South African citizen.

Once shortlisted, candidates will undergo a rigorous recruitment process. Successful applicants will be placed within Eskom’s various operational divisions, offering them broad exposure and professional growth.
