About the Role
Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, the Fuel Station Cashier will be responsible for handling sales transactions of fuel and other products at the point of sale (POS). This role also involves managing cash and other payment methods, completing daily cash reconciliations, and maintaining accurate sales records.
Key Responsibilities
- Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately using the cash register and POS system
- Handle cash, credit, and other payment methods securely
- Perform administrative duties such as daily cash-ups, reconciliations, and sales reporting
- Provide exceptional customer service to all fuel station customers
- Maintain accuracy while working under pressure during busy periods
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) certificate is mandatory
- Strong numerical and computer skills required
- Bilingual proficiency in Afrikaans and English is essential
- Ability to maintain accuracy and composure under pressure
- Passion for outstanding customer service
- Previous relevant experience will be advantageous but not required
