Job Purpose
As a Permanent Part-Timer, your role will be to support store management with day-to-day operations, assist customers with exceptional service, and help maintain high standards across the sales floor. You’ll also play a part in merchandising and safeguarding store assets while following all policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver top-tier customer service to every shopper
- Complete sales transactions accurately (cash, credit, checks)
- Assist in product ticketing and stock verification
- Support stock flow from storeroom to shop floor
- Help create eye-catching displays based on team guidance
- Use point-of-sale systems with attention to policy compliance
- Engage in upselling and providing detailed product information to customers
- Greet customers and assist them in finding suitable products
- Serve as a greeter during busy hours to manage customer flow
- Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness across the store
- Ensure company property is secure and well-managed
What You Need to Succeed
- A strong passion for retail and delivering excellent customer experiences
- Confidence, initiative, and a positive, upbeat personality
- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and evenings
- Great communication skills
- Previous fashion retail experience is an advantage but not essential
- Team spirit, drive, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- A natural love for fashion and confidence in styling customers
Education and Experience
- Matric certificate required
- 0–1 years of retail experience preferred
