Role Overview
The Business Solutions Graduate Internship provides exposure to real business challenges, offering hands-on learning in data analysis, business process improvement, and technology-driven solutions. Successful candidates will work closely with business stakeholders, gain technical skills, and contribute to projects that enhance operational efficiency.
Programme Outline
Interns will be involved in:
- Gathering requirements from stakeholders
- Analysing requirements and documenting them through use cases, user stories, and process models
- Proposing improvements to business processes and technologies
- Designing business processes and drafting functional and technical specifications
- Supporting and maintaining existing processes and technology
- Setting up test cases and conducting functionality testing
- Assisting with user training and support
- System analysis and documentation
- Participating in project management activities
- Designing and creating data models and maintaining a data dictionary
- Developing data products to support business decision-making
Candidate Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operational Research, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Science
- Minimum of 65% average
- South African citizen aged 18 to 33 years
- 0 to 1 year of working experience
- Willingness to travel
- Driver’s licence is advantageous
- Intermediate computer skills (Google Suite or Microsoft Office)
