Health Merchandiser Vacancy at Dis-Chem North Cape Mall, Kimberley

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a Health Merchandiser for its North Cape Mall store in Kimberley, Northern Cape. This permanent role focuses on maintaining merchandising standards and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Restock merchandise according to business needs
• Store and organize stock correctly in backroom and shop floor
• Ensure shelves are fully stocked with the complete product range
• Rotate stock regularly using First In First Out (FIFO) method
• Assist with stocktaking and inventory management
• Maintain neat, visible displays with accurate labels and pricing
• Build and maintain merchandising displays
• Keep store and merchandise areas clean and orderly
• Address customer stock inquiries promptly
• Assist with back shopping duties

Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Up to 6 months retail experience
• Computer literate, especially MS Office
• Willing to work retail hours

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in health-related fields
• At least 1 year retail experience

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong English communication
• Presentable and trustworthy
• Good time management and customer engagement
• Knowledge of merchandising and FMCG standards a plus
• Ability to analyze stock and ordering reports
• Experience with SAP and Unisolv beneficial

Additional Conditions:

• Physically able to lift and move stock safely
• Reliable transport or live near the store
• South African citizen with clear criminal and credit records
