Role Overview
The successful candidate will work across various cinema functions, including cashier duties at box office or catering sales, collections, cinema assistance, waiting, popcorn preparation, and other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Key Responsibilities
- Stay informed about Ster-Kinekor products and promotions to upsell to guests.
- Maintain presentation standards, including updated age restrictions, synopsis files, posters, F&B displays, and disclaimers.
- Prepare popcorn, slush, and other items according to quality standards, reporting any deviations.
- Assist with shift preparation in assigned areas.
- Ensure product quality and integrity to protect the guest experience.
- Remain presentable and professional at all times.
- Keep kitchen, equipment, counters, and surrounding areas clean.
- Maintain storerooms according to set standards, including fumigation when necessary.
- Properly seal, package, and store prepared products.
- Submit required Health and Safety reports on time.
- Adhere to uniform and preparation standards to ensure safety.
Qualifications
- Matric certificate.
Experience and Knowledge
- 0 to 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Basic MS Office skills.
- Knowledge of VISTA is an advantage.
