Driver Code 14 PDP (EE) Position Available at Steinmüller Africa in Pretoria
Steinmüller Africa is seeking a Driver Code 14 PDP (EE) to join its team in Pretoria, Gauteng. This permanent role focuses on the safe and efficient transport of goods, equipment, and personnel to various sites. The position is exclusively open to Employment Equity (EE) candidates. The closing date for applications is 03 November 2025.
Job Purpose
The primary purpose of the role is to transport materials, goods, and employees safely between locations while maintaining vehicle reliability and compliance with company and legal standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and offload materials for delivery and collection.
- Transport employees to various work locations as required.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report defects to ensure safety and compliance.
- Assist with general stores duties when needed.
- Deliver goods to sites, suppliers, and other locations.
- Comply with the Road Traffic Act, OHS Act, and company procedures.
- Move materials around the workshop using the overhead crane.
- Work overtime, weekends, or public holidays as required.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Competencies and Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Teamwork and collaboration.

Preferred Requirements
- Grade 12/N3 qualification.
- Valid heavy-duty motor vehicle licence (Code 14/EC) with PDP.
- Public driving and transport experience.
- Knowledge of the National Road Act and operating overhead cranes.
- Willingness to obtain forklift license and learn new skills.
- Familiarity with Gauteng and Mpumalanga roads.
- Residence in Pretoria is mandatory.
