adidas is hiring a Permanent Part-Timer to join its Thohoyandou store team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about retail, fashion, and customer service. The position involves assisting management with daily store operations while ensuring excellent customer experiences.
Job Purpose
The Permanent Part-Timer will support store management in day-to-day maintenance, follow all store policies and procedures, and provide a high level of service to customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver the highest level of adidas service to every customer
- Complete regular sales transactions involving cash, credit, or checks as needed
- Assist with product ticketing and verify paperwork against received items
- Help move products from the stockroom to the sales floor when required
- Support merchandise displays following management suggestions or schedules
- Achieve proficiency with the point-of-sale system and maintain integrity according to policies
- Use sales techniques such as upselling and describing product features to reach sales goals
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products; occasionally serve as a front-door Greeter during busy periods
- Maintain general housekeeping standards
- Ensure the safekeeping of company assets
Skills and Experience
