Position Overview
The General Worker will assist the production team with day-to-day operations, ensure hygiene standards are met, and maintain cleanliness throughout the facility. This role is ideal for individuals who are reliable, physically fit, and attentive to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily food production tasks, including packing, labeling, and preparing ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all work and production areas
- Follow strict food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Clean production equipment, tools, and surfaces as required
- Assist with loading and offloading raw materials and finished goods
- Adhere to company policies and health & safety standards
- Perform other general duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
- Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, or cleaning is advantageous but not essential
- Must have a cellphone with WhatsApp for shift communications
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit to stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Willingness to work on-call and adapt to changing production schedules
- Availability for occasional weekend or public holiday shifts if required
Work Schedule

Compensation
- Salary ranges from R2 000 to R8 000 per annum, depending on hours worked and production needs
