Adidas is seeking a Permanent Part-Timer to join its team at the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town. This role supports day-to-day store operations, assists management, and ensures customers receive excellent service. The position is suitable for candidates with minimal retail experience and a passion for fashion and customer service.

Purpose and Relevance

The Permanent Part-Timer assists management in store maintenance, observes company policies, and delivers high-quality service. You contribute to smooth store operations while supporting sales and merchandising objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver the highest level of adidas customer service at all times
• Process sales transactions including cash, credit, and checks
• Assist with ticketing products and checking paperwork against deliveries
• Support product flow from stockroom to sales floor
• Help develop merchandise displays or follow store management plans
• Acquire proficiency with the point-of-sale system and maintain policy integrity
• Use selling techniques, including add-on sales and technical product descriptions
• Greet customers and assist with finding products; act as a front-door Greeter during peak periods
• Maintain store cleanliness and general housekeeping standards
• Safeguard company assets and support loss prevention measures
• Monitor sales floor, report suspicious activity, and follow security procedures
• Participate in in-store or digital training programs (Atticus/AREA) for product knowledge and best practices
• Familiarize yourself with Power BI tools to understand store performance, best sellers, and low-performing products

• Previous fashion retail experience is advantageous but not essential
