Permanent Part-timer Opportunity at adidas Retail Crossing

Adidas is seeking a Permanent Part-timer to join its Retail Crossing store team. This role supports daily store operations, delivers excellent customer service, and ensures compliance with store policies and procedures. It is ideal for individuals passionate about retail and fashion who want hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of service to every customer.
• Complete sales transactions involving cash, credit, or checks as needed.
• Assist with ticketing of products and check paperwork against received items.
• Move stock from the stockroom to the sales floor on a fill-in basis.
• Support merchandise displays based on store management guidance.
• Gain proficiency with the point-of-sale system and maintain system integrity.
• Use selling techniques such as add-on sales and technical product explanations to reach sales goals.
• Greet customers and assist them in finding products; serve as a Greeter during busy periods.
• Maintain general housekeeping standards, including cleaning the store.
• Safeguard company assets and monitor for loss prevention; follow security procedures.
• Participate in in-store or digital training to improve product knowledge and best practices.
• Familiarize yourself with Power BI tools to understand store performance and product trends.

Requirements

• Matric certificate.
• 0–1 years of retail experience.
• Passion for retail and customer service.
• Ability to use initiative and work independently.
• Clear and upbeat communication skills.
• Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
• Previous fashion retail experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Adaptability to handle multiple tasks and changing circumstances.
• Ability to work in a team to achieve results.
• Confidence and enthusiasm to style customers in any look they want.
