adidas Menlyn is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Permanent Part-Timers. This role offers the chance to gain retail experience while contributing to a dynamic store environment. The position focuses on assisting management with day-to-day store operations and providing excellent service to every customer.
Job Purpose:
- Assist management in daily store maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Observe and maintain all store policies and procedures
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the highest level of adidas service for every customer
- Complete regular sales transactions, including cash, credit, and checks
- Assist with ticketing products and checking paperwork against items received
- Support product flow from stockroom to sales floor as needed
- Develop and maintain merchandise displays following management guidance
- Gain proficiency with the point-of-sale system while maintaining policy and procedure integrity
- Use selling techniques, including add-on sales and describing technical product information, to meet sales goals
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products; occasionally serve as a greeter at the store entrance
- Maintain general housekeeping standards
- Safeguard company assets
Skills and Experience:
- Passion for retail and customer service
- Ability to use initiative
- Clear, upbeat communication skills
- Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends
- Previous fashion retail experience is an advantage but not essential

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Matric certificate
- 0–1 years of retail experience
