Permanent Part-Timer Opportunity at Adidas Thohoyandou

Adidas is looking for a Permanent Part-Timer in Thohoyandou to support day-to-day store operations while delivering excellent customer service. This role ensures smooth store functioning, maintains high service standards, and helps drive sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of adidas service to each customer
• Handle regular sales transactions including cash, credit, and checks as needed
• Assist with ticketing products and verifying paperwork against received items
• Support product flow from stockroom to sales floor on a fill-in basis
• Help develop merchandise displays following management guidance
• Gain proficiency with the point-of-sale system and maintain policy integrity
• Use selling techniques, including add-on sales and explaining product features, to meet sales goals
• Greet customers and guide them to the right products; occasionally serve as front-door Greeter during busy periods
• Maintain store cleanliness and housekeeping standards
• Safeguard company assets and report suspicious activity for loss prevention
• Participate in in-store and digital training to improve product knowledge and role performance
• Familiarize with Power BI tools to understand store performance, best sellers, and slow-moving products

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong passion for retail and customer service
• Ability to take initiative and adapt to changing tasks
• Clear, upbeat communication skills
• Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends
• Fashion retail experience is an advantage but not essential
• Adaptable and capable of handling multiple responsibilities
