Role Overview

The General Worker supports daily silo operations by assisting with material handling, cleaning, basic maintenance, and safety compliance. The role ensures smooth loading, unloading, storage, and movement of materials while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. You will work under supervision and follow instructions while contributing to the efficiency of operations.

Minimum Requirements

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Grade 12 or NQF4
• Ability to perform hard manual labour
• Previous experience in industrial, agricultural, or construction environments is advantageous
• Physically fit and able to work at heights and in confined spaces (training provided)
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Strong awareness of safety rules and procedures

Duties And Responsibilities

The General Worker is responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure smooth operations and safety compliance.

Key duties include:

• Maintaining general tidiness of the work area
• Performing cleaning and housekeeping duties
• Assisting customers and suppliers with loading and offloading stock according to company policies
• Supporting stock control processes
• Completing ADHOC duties as assigned
