This role is designed for individuals passionate about retail and customer service, offering hands-on experience in a fast-paced fashion retail environment. The position focuses on assisting management with day-to-day store operations while delivering excellent customer experiences and maintaining store standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide the highest level of service to every customer and assist them in finding the right products
- Handle sales transactions, including cash, credit, and checks, as required
- Support product flow from the stockroom to the sales floor and assist with visual merchandising displays
- Maintain general housekeeping standards and ensure safekeeping of company assets
- Follow loss prevention procedures and report any suspicious activity
- Participate in in-store or digital training to develop product knowledge and retail best practices
- Use tools like Power BI to understand store performance, identify best sellers, and manage inventory effectively
- Employ selling techniques, including add-on sales and technical product explanations, to achieve store sales goals
- Occasionally serve as a Greeter during busy periods, ensuring a welcoming environment for customers
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Passion for retail and delivering exceptional customer service
- Clear and upbeat communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly during weekdays, evenings, and weekends
- Initiative and adaptability to handle changing tasks and priorities
- Previous fashion retail experience is advantageous but not essential
Requisite Education and Experience
- Matric certificate
- 0–1 years of retail experience
