Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the sale of Schedule 1 and Schedule 2 medicines
• Supporting the compounding and preparation of non sterile medicines
• Assisting with medicine manufacturing under approved procedures
• Repacking and labelling medication accurately
• Managing stock control for Schedule 1 to Schedule 5 medicines
• Assisting with prescription interpretation and preparation
• Capturing and verifying patient information on pharmacy systems
• Ensuring accurate picking, packing, and checking of medication
• Providing clear instructions to patients on medicine use
• Assisting with medical aid claims and prescription processing
• Supporting chronic, HIV, AIDS, and oncology medication authorisation
• Reporting stock shortages and errors to management

Patient Care And Pharmaceutical Support
