Job Purpose And Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

- Assisting with the sale of Schedule 1 and Schedule 2 medicines
- Supporting the compounding and preparation of non sterile medicines
- Assisting with medicine manufacturing under approved procedures
- Repacking and labelling medication accurately
- Managing stock control for Schedule 1 to Schedule 5 medicines
- Assisting with prescription interpretation and preparation
- Capturing and verifying patient information on pharmacy systems
- Ensuring accurate picking, packing, and checking of medication
- Providing clear instructions to patients on medicine use
- Assisting with medical aid claims and prescription processing
- Supporting chronic, HIV, AIDS, and oncology medication authorisation
- Reporting stock shortages and errors to management

Patient Care And Pharmaceutical Support
